Send to KindleI sculpted the head for this figure and then made a one piece seamless silicone mold, which I then cast in resin. The resin cast was primed and painted in a mix of latex paints and powdered pastel chalks – then sprayed with a no gloss sealer.
The figure is depicting the character ‘Private Caparzo’ as portrayed by Vin Diesel in the movie “Saving Private Ryan“.

Send to KindleI created this head sculpt from a mix of polymer clays; making a silicone cast and a resin positive. It is based on the fictional movie character ‘Travis Bickle’ portrayed by Robert Di Nero in the 1976 movie “Taxi Driver“. This resin head sculpt is then hand painted, and the figure assembled from hand-made and commercialy produced pieces based on details of the character in the movie. The figure is owned by a private collector in Australia.
